Trick or treat yo’ self to a crafty night with feminist arts collective Craft Punk.
Craft Punk was started by a group of new friends who wanted to build an open space to be creative, meet fresh faces and celebrate positive, empowering conversation. They welcome people of all genders, sexualities, ages, backgrounds, races and abilities. Everyone and anyone is welcome, which is why we are delighted to welcome them to The Bungalow this Halloween. The group are crafting enthusiasts (not professionals) and are passionate about sharing skills, bringing people together, and the joy of making things. Events are designed to be fun for all levels, so no artistic bones or arty-fartiness required.
Two events to attend
When: 26th October 2021
Where: The Bungalow, Kampus
What: Wreath making
Make a jazzy autumnal wreath and even jazzier new pals with the feminist craft collective serving up good times and great chat.
Fancy getting in the autumn spirit? Creating a beautiful wreath to decorate your home? Drinking prosecco, eating snacks, and making new friends?
Look no further: Craft Punk is hosting a cosy night of crafting at the Kampus bungalow. You’ll be provided with everything you need to create an autumnal wreath, as well as two complimentary glasses of prosecco and lots of snacks.
We encourage you to bring along inspiration and ideas for your wreath, as well as anything specific you’d like to decorate it with. We love a bit of urban foraging, so on your next walk (you know the one – where the sun is shining, the air is cold, and the leaves are crisp) keep your eyes peeled for pine cones, leaves, and berries to give your wreath that extra je ne sais quoi.
Craft Punk is a feminist craft collective: we’re passionate about making things, bringing people together, and sharing our skills. We’re not professionals, so won’t be hosting a step-by-step class on the night. Instead we’ll give you the tools and advice you need to create a unique wreath that is truly personal to you.
